Once in a while, a special talent comes along. But only in a blue moon is that talent the likes of Riley. Born and raised in the Bay Area, she is a joy to watch and listen as she performs oldies from yesteryears.
Riley brings a resume rich with performance. At an early age, she graced the cover of Vogue Italia and Familia in Japan, was the cover girl from junior Nordstrom’s to Ralph Lauren. Her face was seen often on ads for Tommy Hilfiger and Gymboree across the US. At the age of 6, she opened the catwalk for the Academy of Arts in San Francisco. Not satisfied with just the fashion world, she soon had a cameo appearance in Modern Family, American Housewives and most recently, played the younger Reilleen in Netflix $90 Million blockbuster, Altered Carbon.
Riley took a liking to the guitar after she attended a summer camp a the Girl’s Rock Camp. From there, she studied the guitar with Mitch House, who played and toured for the likes of Eddie Money and Lyle Lovett. And now studying under Jacob Light @ModernTone Studio. Otherwise, the voice you hear is pure and raw without lessons.
On any given night, you might hear her perform goldies like “ House of the Rising Sun” (the Animals) to “ Hurt” (Nine Inch Nails). Both rich and thick with emotions. The former was learned as birthday gift for her uncle ( as it was his favorite song.) The latter she found solace after her grandmother passed way unexpectedly.
To catch this rising sensation, stay tuned for her more information about her performance dates and appearances at a local Bay Area venue.
